Matthew Kloosterman

Matthew Kloosterman is a Canadian expatriate currently living in Suwon, Korea. He is a DP & MYP English Language and Literature teacher at Gyeonggi Suwon International School and an IB English A examiner. Through Gyeonggi Suwon International School, Matthew leads district level professional development for public school educators in Korea. These PDs are focused on the IB and inquiry based learning. Many years ago, Matthew was employed in Shenzhen’s finest project-based learning (PBL) school, Shenzhen American International School. It was at SAIS that his passion for PBL was born, and his experiences there remain a cornerstone of his teaching philosophy.
