Hedreich Nichols is an award‑winning author, internationally known speaker, and founder of SmallBites Educational Consulting. Her Cherry Lake middle-grade justice series and her Solution Tree book Finding Your Blind Spots support educators in recognizing bias and amplifying student stories. A former Grammy-nominated music educator turned edtech nerd, Hedreich designs student‑driven learning environments and coaches districts to create more culturally literate classrooms through transformative, research-based practice.

Now a retired Texas teacher, she serves as the Senior Communications Specialist at the Center for Outcomes Based Contracting, shaping national systems that center measurable student success.
