Elizabeth Aguila

Career and Technical Education Teacher

Elizabeth M. Aguila, Ph.D., is currently an assistant professor for the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and Criminal Justice. Before teaching at Nova Southeastern University, she was an adjunct professor at Florida International University. She was also a full-time high school teacher for Florida Virtual School, where she taught English/Language Arts and helped to launch the district's virtual Teaching Academy. Prior to this, she developed a successful teaching academy at Miami Dade County Public Schools in Florida. Dr. Aguila has been teaching since 2001.
