Cara Zelas
Early Childhood Educator
Cara Zelas is an early childhood educator, Montessori teacher, author, and education consultant. She is the founder of Big World of Little Dude, where she helps parents and educators build children's social skills, communication, resilience, and executive functioning through books, classroom resources, and professional learning - with a little help from Little Dude, her therapy dog. Cara is the creator of the humanKIND Classroom, a literacy-based curriculum that helps teachers strengthen classroom culture through everyday routines and relationships. She holds degrees in Media Communications and Elementary Education from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and an Early Childhood Montessori Certification from West Side Montessori School in New York.
