Candice Batson

My name is Candice Batson, and I’m a New York City teacher. I officially began my career as an educator six years ago as a first-grade private school teacher. I am currently a public school teacher, having taught students from first to fifth grade in my short time as an educator. Having had so many diverse experiences as a teacher in my six short years as a teacher taught me the importance of confidently rising to the challenges that come with being an educator to be an inspiring, motivating teacher for my students.
