
Amy Brownlee
Reading Teacher and Librarian
Amy Brownlee was named the 2017 Kansas School Librarian of the Year for developing an outstanding library program. She won a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship and spent a month in Africa with Ethiopia Reads and served on the William Allen White Children’s Book Award Selection Committee. In her 25+ year career, Amy has secured over $93,000 in grant funding and given over 40 workshop presentations. Amy is a reading teacher and librarian at a small, rural school district in Kansas.
